Darn Straight its long over due! But World AIDS Day had me running like a mad woman. The online book discussion for Wench is scheduled for this coming Monday, December 12th at 7pm CST. I've already heard some feed back. Some of you loved it, some thought it interesting and others had a hard time getting through it. Can't wait for us to get together!
For the on-line discussion, as usual, come to the blog, http://www.rarelewisthornton.com and click on RLT Reads and at the bottom you can sign into the chat roll that will be there on Monday. I will Chat with you on Monday!!
The NEW pick is Only Twice I Wished for Heaven. I read this book well over15 years ago and it has stuck to me like glue. I've wanted to share this book with you since the beginning of the book club. The author Dawn Turner Trice is from Chicago and the book is set in Chicago in the 1975.
The most exciting news, DWN has agreed to sit in on the chat discussion with us. You can find Dawn on Facebook. We are still working on a date. Because you probably will have to buy this book and the holidays are coming, I'm going to give you extra time to read it. Be prepared toward the end of January to discuss the book. And yes I will be reading it with you. I've gotta refresh my memory of the details. You can buy the book HERE
